This morning we will take a walk in the Chiang Mai area. Let’s start by visiting the artisan villages, we will see and be impressed by the artifacts that the villagers prepare. After breakfast we will be on our way about 3 hours drive to Chiang Rai. Along the way we will include stops and local attractions. Also visit one of the authentic tribal tribes living in Northern Thailand. Here we can get an idea of the tribal lifestyle about the customary attire and more …. The long-necked and long-eared tribe, we will learn how the tribal girls tend to extend their neck by rings as a symbol of beauty and status to see the long-ears and lifestyle of this Burmese tribe. After breakfast we will drive to the Golden Triangle and visit the point where the Mekong River connects the three states of Thailand to Laos and Burma. We will see the huge Buddha in the place learn about the neighboring countries and the growth and opium trade that took place in the area many years ago the main source of income in the Golden Triangle. Get on a motorboat and cruise on the Mekong River stopping at Little Laos Island – time for shopping and a further drive to what is Sai’s northernmost border town in Thailand which is the land crossing point to Burma. After breakfast transfer to Chiang Rai airport for a flight south to Phuket Island. Upon landing transfer to our hotel. Free time to be impressed by the blue beaches, the white sands and the cafés and restaurants in the area are bustling with life. After dinner in Chabad, we will head to the Fantasea show, a huge complex of events, carnivals, games and a shopping center featuring souvenirs and crafts from the best of Thai tradition. Breathtaking Thai tradition shows in which Thai magic and mystery are expressed. Watch the breathtaking performances that deal with Thai culture, magic and acrobatics at several floors, light and sound effects, laser shows, elephants and a multitude of performances by hundreds of dancers … an experience. At the end of the tour we will return to our hotel.
After breakfast we will cruise the ferry for a magical day in Phi Phi – one of the most popular islands in Southern Thailand. The large island characterized by steep limestone cliffs that delimit the island including magical bays, golden sandy beaches and tropical palm trees, clear clear water, coral, tropical sea fish – an unforgettable experience! At the end of the day we will return to the hotel for dinner in Chabad.
Early this morning we will take a boat to Phang Nga. Combining canoeing among the many karstic mountains in the area and the mangrove reserve we will arrive at “Nail Island,” the Tao Fu line, known as the Island of James Bond. Today we will take a guided tour of the city, during which we will visit its important wat wat temple, the immense Buddha Temple, and continue a special tour of Grand Palace, the palace of the Siam kings on the stunning buildings, funeral homes, reception buildings, coronation pavilion, guesthouses and more. We will also see Wat Phra Cao Temple, an Emerald Buddha Temple from the most sacred places in the Buddhist world. We will continue cruising on the Chow Praya River here we will see the local lifestyle in the old city of Bangkok. We will continue to the famous Pratunam district where we will be impressed by the lifestyle of the region. We’ll be taken in a stunning view of the city from 87th floor of the King Power Mahanakhon tower for a Chabad dinner.
